Oral History Donation Guideline
Please include (print or type) the following information:
1. Information about yourself:
a. Name
b. Rank at time of service
c. Unit assignment (from Company to Division level)
d. Duty Position/Status
e. Dates you served in Korea
f. Your mailing address
g. Your phone number
h. Your e-mail address
2. Information about the MIA in your oral history statement
a. Name
b. Rank
c. Unit (be as detailed as possible)
d. Duty Position/Status or details about what job they were performing
e. Date(s) of oral history event
f. Detailed description of loss location (place names, landmarks, major terrain features)
g. Detailed description of events
3. Submit your oral history donation.

4. General Guidelines
a. Focus on your personal point of view
b. Be as specific as possible
c. Do not use acronyms, please spell things out completely
d. There is no restriction on the length of your submission
e. Consider having a friend of family member proof read your document
f. Please make a copy of your document, as we will retain your original submissions.
g. Please be aware that analysts/historians may need contact you to provide additional details.
h. JPAC will analyze and share your statement within the U.S. Government’s POW/MIA community for research purposes then archive the document among our records. Please make copies of anything you send, as original documents will not be returned.
